So yesterday morning I woke up and found out that I had received my second Daily Deviation, and it completely made my day!

New computer - finally!
So finally I heard back from the repair shop and the store where I bought my computer! The repair shop said that it would be at least a couple of weeks more, now this was two weeks ago or so, and then last week the store manager, from where I bought my computer, called me, saying how it would be too unfair to keep asking me to wait, so she would give me a new computer and then the old one would just be "cancelled" - so now I have a brand new laptop and have been doing a bit of retouching work already, so pleased!

Reason for lack of activity
Hi all,
As you may have noticed, I've been seriously inactive on dA for the past few weeks - the reason is simple, yet annoying as hell.
My laptop died a few weeks back, and I have sent it to be repaired - however, things are taking their time.
The first week of repairing, the workshop that have my computer sent it back and forth to their other workshop.
As if that wasn't annoying enough, they have been really slow in getting anything done, and now they are going to send my laptop to HP in some other country... and it will most likely take another two weeks before I can hope to get my computer back.
So, till I get it back, I'm afraid not
The end of an era...
As you have probably noticed, I have been doing quite a bit of retouching these past few weeks, and I think I'm slowly coming to the point where I feel that retouching is the way to go for me, which means that digital art - photomanipulating - is maybe not.
Yes, it seems to be the end of an era, my photomanipulating time is, at least for now, going to be left in the past, and the future is retouching.
I feel quite fine with it being this way, because my lack of inspiration to actually make art has been very strong for about a year now, and I've decided that I'll just stop fighting it, because it's not really working anyways.

Aw :/ I just thought that you've been rather quiet on FB, and here I read the reason 
I've had that problem too. I realized that I can't do free commissions since it takes too much time and people actually pay for those services otherwise. Even if they are friends I have to politely remind them that I do not work for free - but they do get a friend discount
